In observance of World AIDS Day, we’ll turn the stage over to HIV survivors and those who have cared for loved ones with HIV/AIDS. Their personal stories are courageous and hopeful, yet reflective of the challenges faced by people with HIV. The National Museum of Natural History is teaming up with Whitman-Walker Health to bring you this program.

Speakers:

  • Bruce Richman, J.D., Founding Executive Director, Prevention Access Campaign and U=U
  • Patricia Nalls, Founder and Executive Director, The Women's Collective
  • Derrick "Strawberry" Cox, Whitman-Walker Health Board Member
This program is offered in conjunction with the exhibition Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World at the National Museum of Natural History.
Accessibility: Access services such as American Sign Language interpretation, real-time captioning (CART), or audio description are available with two-weeks advanced notice. To request this service, please call (202) 633-5238 or e-mail NMNHAccessibility@si.edu. This event is wheelchair accessible.
