Lionfish are native to the tropical waters of the South Pacific and Indian Oceans. However, with their voracious appetite and high birth rates, they have invaded the warm tropical ecosystems of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea, threatening native species and causing harm to marine environments. Come talk to Marine Scientist Stacey Weinstock about how scientists are exploring ways to control the population.
