Join us for this live, online program featuring Stacey Karpen Dohn, Senior Manager of Behavioral Health at Whitman-Walker Health.  Dr. Karpen Dohn will give a presentation on "How to be the Narrator of Your Own Life During Uncertain Times." What story have you been telling for the past few months? Is your story one of fear, longing, grief, anxiety, or hope?  Perhaps you have been telling a story of not knowing what comes next?  Journey through our collective experiences of cultural trauma, collective grief, resilience and hope in order to find the words to narrate our stories of survival.

Stacey Karpen Dohn, PhD, LPC specializes in serving the LGBTQ community and people with HIV/AIDS in Washington, DC. Her work as both a psychotherapist, researcher and writer has focused on themes related to cultural humility and collective trauma in both domestic and international settings with populations affected by HIV/AIDS and transgender children and adults. As an author, she uses narrative to explore individual and collective experience. In addition to her work at Whitman-Walker Health, she runs a private practice focused on serving transgender and gender expansive children/adolescents and their families.
