1. Join us on a 1 mile walk through Anacostia with GirlTrek – an organization that describes itself as a “life-saving sisterhood.” GirlTrek is featured in our current exhibition, To Live and Breathe: Women in Environmental Justice in Washington D.C. Meet new friends while prioritizing your health.

The trek starts at 10am in the Anacostia neighborhood and culminates at the museum with a viewing of To Live and Breathe and refreshments from 11am – 12pm.

Walk dates are May 20, June 10^th, August 12, and October 14.
