Early readers and their grown-up companions are invited to a new book club highlighting big ideas about ourselves and others. Each month, participants are encouraged to read a select picture book at home and then join Portrait Gallery educators to discuss the story.  
 
July 11 – "Shining Star: The Anna May Wong Story"

We’ll look at portraits in one of our special exhibitions and create fun takeaways for continued conversations at home. This program is ideal for elementary school-aged children and their families.
