Teaching Africa Day Storytelling through the Ages: Past, Present, and Future Teaching Africa Day is an interactive family-friendly event raising students’ awareness about Africa! This annual event brings together educational resources on Africa’s rich cultural heritage. Now in its 9th year, Teaching Africa Day provides a platform for educators, families, and the DMV community to showcase books, films, games, programs, and other resources on Africa and its rich and vibrant heritage in one place.
