Dig in the Dirt! Stomp in Puddles! Our WILD Nature Play Club will meet once a quarter at the Anacostia Community Museum where we will explore the half-mile loop trail right next to the museum. Join us for unstructured play time in nature as well as a child-directed hike through the George Washington Carver Nature Trail. At the end of the hike, we will gather together for a story and nature activity then head back to the museum. Come prepared for our time together by bringing an extra pair of clothes, closed-toe shoes, water, and a snack! Presented as a pilot program by the National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute’s Little Critters: Nature Play educators. |
